Question 3

How long has Urban Pet Sitting been serving Houston?

Accepted Answer

Urban Pet Sitting was founded in 2002 by Meredith De Olavarria. We have been providing professional in-home pet care to Houston families for over two decades, making us one of the most experienced pet sitting services in the area.

Question 4

How does in-home pet sitting work?

Accepted Answer

With in-home pet sitting, your pet stays in the comfort of their own home rather than being boarded at a kennel. One of our experienced pet sitters comes to your home to feed, walk, play with, and care for your pet according to their normal routine. We offer drop-in visits (25–60 minutes) and overnight stays (8–12 hours). You receive daily updates and photos through PetPocketBook so you always know how your pet is doing.

Question 5

Can I meet my pet sitter before my first appointment?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely — and we encourage it. We offer a complimentary Meet & Greet in your home before services begin. Your assigned sitter will come to meet you and your pet, see where everything is kept, and learn your pet's routine and any special needs. It typically takes about 20 minutes and there is no charge.

Question 6

Does Urban Pet Sitting offer overnight pet sitting?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our overnight stays run 8 hours (starting at $75) or 10–12 hours ($110). Your pet sitter stays in your home overnight, giving your pet companionship and care through the night. This is ideal for pets that do not do well alone or for owners who want their home checked on while they travel.

Question 7
